NFFF Fish & Chip Quality Award
Where you can find Gluten-free Fish & Chips

IF YOU HAVE A GLUTEN INTOLERANCE YOU CAN STILL ENJOY FISH AND CHIPS!!

The NFFF is proud to promote its members who offer gluten-free fish and chips, please see the list below for details of your nearest shop.

Gluten is a protein found in cereals such as wheat, rye, barley, and can contaminate some oat products. People with gluten intolerance (coeliac disease) need to avoid all food containing gluten.

Traditionally fish and chips was high on the list of foods that coeliacs had to avoid, but a range of new gluten free batter mixes and flours that have come on to the market in recent years means that this is no longer the case and an increasing number of shops are now embracing the gluten-free revolution.

Please see below for a directory of UK fish and chip shops and restaurants offering coeliac friendly meals.

If your fish and chip shop is offering gluten-free and you want to be included on the list please contact Thomas Pick on 0113 230 7044

"We've done gluten-free for 3 years now, its the best thing I've ever done and I've been frying for a long time. It's become so popular that the local coeliac society now have their monthly meeting at our restaurant!"

- Simon Fawcett, North Sea Lane Fisheries, Cleethorpes.
