The
Winners of the 2008 Fish and Chip shop of the Year competition were
announced yesterday at a glittering function at the Riverbank Park
Plaza in London, hosted by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer.
It was
a good day for the National Federation with all of the top three shops
being members. Anstruther Fish Bar & Restaurant scooped the Top
prize, Colman's of South Shields second and Thornton Fisheries were in
third Place.
