National Wholesaler JJ Food Service will be launching discounts on fresh chicken products, offering free POS and sharing educational videos to celebrate National Poultry Day on March 19th 2017.

General Manager of JJ Food Service Terry Larkin said, "Our fresh, air-chilled chicken breast starts from just £9.99 for around 11x215g fillets – that’s just 86p per fillet. We’re getting increased interest from households catering for large families, particularly for our smaller 2.5kg pack size (CHI385).”

Chicken will continue to be a popular item on restaurant menus as consumers look for lower cost options, added Mr Larkin. "We are negotiating the best prices for all our customers as products like fish continue to increase in price. We are recommending the introduction of chicken dishes alongside more expensive fish options, to improve choice for diners.”

To support the promotion of poultry options, JJ has produced new vibrant, A3, poster for takeaways (POS156), available free-of-charge to customers. YouTube videos have been produced to promote the use of JJ’s new packing range (BOX082, 83, 84) for chicken.

Additional videos have been produced to provide information on JJ’s fresh poultry products, including Nine Ways to Cut Chicken.
